Library Instruction: Welcome

This site provides access to the resources available through our program to compliment your course curriculum. Library Instruction is a continual partnership between classroom and library faculty to promote information literacy and lifelong learning.

Why Library Instruction Is Important

Our students today are bombarded with information from all directions. Our librarians collaborate with faculty to create a library instruction session to help students navigate through the endless stream of information and find the quality resources they need.

We can design a session to fit your needs whether it be a simple introduction of our resources and services with a tour of the library to more involved sessions of demonstrating how to search our databases or setting up a one on one session with students who need more specialized and individual help.

We can meet with our traditional on campus classes, at one of our off campus class locations, or design a plan for your online class.
